We’re two brothers from Gunnedah, NSW, a rural town with a huge golfing community.

Our dad picked up the game at 11, and by the time we could walk, we were swinging clubs beside him. Some of our best memories were made on country fairways under big skies, where the love of the game took root long before we understood it.

We also grew up surrounded by native Australian birds — especially the Diamond Firetail finches our dad bred at home, along with many others. They’re small, sharp, distinct, and full of character. When it came time to choose a name for our brand, nothing felt more fitting.

Firetail is who we are, where we’re from, and what shaped us.

Why We Started Firetail

As we grew up and our golf evolved, one thing became obvious:

Golf clothing had lost its way.

Everything “premium” was getting too expensive — without actually improving. The alternative was cheap, outdated shirts covered in stale prints and patterns with a logo slapped on. There was no heart, no authenticity, and no real passion behind most of what was out there.

We knew golfers deserved better.

So we set out to build something real:

Golf apparel that genuinely feels premium, performs at the highest level, looks modern, and comes at a price that makes sense.

Not “premium” as a marketing buzzword.

Premium because of the design, the fit, the detail, and the effort behind every piece.
